In general the dust of converter which using the electric dust collector contain iron content more than 50%,  Primary dedusting (equipment: evaporation cooling device, role: removing dust, cooling) its dust is rough that can be as raw materials of sintering, directly sintering, The second dedusting (equipment: electrostatic dust collector, role: removing dust and cooling), itsdust is more fine, the part of them can be recycled using as sintering raw materials, making briquettes from the anther part to sintering in vertical furnace. In accordance with the ratio, pressing briquettes has little effect on the quality of mineral products.Traditional steelmaking use damp dusting system, this removing dust is precipitated into the sludge, commonly known as "red sludge", which has full hydration of calcium oxide, pressing into briquettes does not break up easily.

1. Production technical process
Transporting converter dust to mateials bin through a dust suction car, after digesting, then go into the mixing machine and blend with binder then press into briquettes by a hydraulic briquette machine, the briquttes can be dried by our vertical dryer or using your industrial exhaust, finally sieve them to get qualified product. After many years of practical experience, has successively carried on the transformation to hopper, crusher, mixer, briquette machine, at present our proposal of dust briquetting project can basically achieve 100% production of dust briquettes.

2. The main compsed equipment for converter dust briquettes production:
1) Hopper silo, uniform quantitative material to the horizontal two-shafts mixer.
2) Blender,also named liquid mixer, it is used for liquefied adhesive (if you use powdered adhesives, you can choose the dry powder feeder.)
3) The horizontal two-shaft mixer, full mixing raw materials, adhesives, water. The adhesives should uniform distribution among raw materials in order to achieve better thermal strength, briquettes is hard and better.

3. The requirements for raw materials of blast furnace sludge briquettes production:
1) The particle size of the raw material should be between 0-5mm.
2) Can not contain impurities, especially large metal. Such as nails, or iron, rocks, it very likely damage roller and spindle..
3) The feeding of whole produciton line should be stable, even, ensure workloads of briquette machine stable, to get high efficiency of production.
